Sign on to protect SNAP!
SNAP (The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is facing big cuts, and we need your help to protect this important federal nutrition program!
This week is critical. As early as next week, the House Agriculture Committee will begin to identify cuts to SNAP which could be $230 billion. The resolution also calls for $880 billion in Medicaid cuts, which would directly impact many of the vulnerable neighbors we serve. These are massive cuts to healthcare and food assistance that will affect working families across the country.
SNAP is the nation’s most efficient hunger-relief program. It provides timely and targeted support to help people put food on the table during difficult times. It helps bridge meal gaps for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity, including families with children, seniors, people with disabilities, and people working in jobs that pay low wages or have inconsistent hours.

Nationally, more than 40 million people currently receive benefits.
With grocery prices out of reach for many families, there could not be a worse time to make cuts to food assistance programs.
Our window of opportunity is now! Please sign on to this letter so we can show our elected officials how much we care about this critical program.
